Australian-born Theresa Behenna is an internationally acclaimed pianist & recording artist, motivational speaker & emcee. Who has entertained thousands of people around the world appearing before celebrities such as Andrew Lloyd Webber, Princess Grace, Elton John, Elizabeth Taylor, President George Bush, and ``James Bond``. After moving to Houston in 1982 playing piano in top restaurants, clubs, hotels and special events, her amazing career was highlighted in 2006 when she was chosen by Coca Cola to perform at the Winter Olympics in Italy.
Leah started her musical career while in collage, playing with the Auburn Knights Orchestra. Upon graduation, she moved to New Orleans where she began entertaining at world famous Pat O'Brien's in the French Quarter. It was here she learned the art of dueling pianos from some of the best in the business. After moving to Houston in 2008, she has enjoyed many wonderful opportunities. Among them playing for the Alley Theatre, Richard Brown Sting Orchestra, and opening for Steve Tyrell.
In Houston Glennie has entertained at numerous restaurants, piano bars, hotels, cabarets, theaters and churches, including The Warwick (now Hotel Zaza) and many more. She has created cabaret shows with many other Houston singers and musicians. These days she plays at Cavatore's a few nights a month, as well as playing and singing at several retirement facilities, and is available for private parties for homes or businesses.
Liz is a Houston native. Being the daughter of renowned trumpet player Joe Mendez, she spent her early years back stage listening and learning while her dad played shows with Frank Sinatra, Peggy Lee, The Temptations, and many others. She has been the pianist and music director with many of the top jazz and salsa bands in town. She has shared the stage with music legends Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, and Flora Purim. Liz has also led her own group. In 1996 Liz and her band opened for funk/soul stars ``Tower of Power`` at Rockefellers. She spend many years playing with Angelucho's Copacabana and Houston's own Norma Zenteno.
Vladimir has performed with the Lviv Chamber Orchestra in the Ukraine. He also worked with the ``Medicus``, and instrumental-vocal-folk ensemble that toured Ukraine, Europe and the USA. In 1990 the group won first prize in the International Folk Festival Competition in Spain. In addition he has won numerous awards as a solo performer. IN 1996, he relocated to USA and performed with the Chicago Civic Orchestra. In 1999 he moved to Houston where joined the ``Gypsies Band``. He played Tango and South American Music with the Latin Carnival. He currently performs with the Lake Charles Symphony, ECHO Orchestra, and at Cavatore's 2-4 times a month with Amy Lauro (pianist).
Amy has been performing in the Houston area for over 30 years (solo performances and group projects - piano, vocal,guitar) She perform, doing single appearances with piano, keyboard, organ or guitar and doing vocals as desired by the audience. She also perform with a classical duo (violinist Vladimir K. and pianist Amy Lauro) in the Houston area. At Cavatore Italian Restaurant on Saturdays two or three times a month.
